IT / IS Manager.

Salary: Up to £35,000 pa depending on skills and experience. 

Closing date: 1 January 2021. 

Location: Working in our Head Office in Newcastle. 

Hours: 35 hours per week on a flexible basis to meet the needs of the role. 

The role

We are looking for a highly committed individual to join St Cuthbert’s Care at an exciting time in the charity’s development of information management. This position requires an individual who will make a positive impact on the charity. You will provide strong leadership skills, ensuring the IT functions are effectively managed and developed.

Responsibilities will include:

Providing technical support to the charity’s users across multiple locations
Working proactively to resolve support issues
Managing the IT infrastructure to ensure service levels are achieved
Overseeing the design and development of the charity’s websites and intranet
Ensuring that information systems meet management and user requirements
Identifying and developing system wide improvements in line with operational needs, including software roll-out projects
Supervising IT staff and deliver training to users

Our ideal candidate will

Be a self-starter who can prioritise projects and deliver on time
Have previous experience of working in a similar role
Have excellent communication skills
Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service
Be qualified to degree level or an equivalent relevant qualification
Knowledge of Windows Server/Desktop (including virtualisation), MS SQL, Exchange, PHP, CSS would be an advantage
Be required to have available transport for business use
