Residential Care Officer.

Salary: £18,000 – £20,000.

Location: Working in our specialist Short Break Centre in Newcastle. 

Hours: £18,000 – £20,000. 

The role

Working as a Residential Care Officer in a short break accommodation in Newcastle, you will provide a range of care and support to both adults and children with a range of disabilities and complex needs.

Full and part time hours are available over a 7 day rota basis to meet the needs of the service. Duties will include personal care; administration of medication; safeguarding individuals from all forms of abuse and ensuring guests welfare; safety and needs are at the centre of care provided.

A Diploma level 3 Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification is desirable, or you must be willing to work towards.
