Senior Residential Care Officer.

Salary: £22,000 pa fte. 
Plus £64.72 sleep-in payment. 

Closing date: 1 January 2021. 

Location: Working in our specialist Short Break Centre in Newcastle. 

Hours: 37 hours per week over a 7 day rota. 

The role

Working as a Senior Residential Care Officer in a short break accommodation in Newcastle, you will provide care and support to adults with a range of disabilities and complex needs.

As a Senior Residential Care Officer, you should believe passionately about safeguarding the rights and dignities of our guests. You will support the manager to deliver high quality care and empower service users to reach their full potential. Duties will include personal care; administration of medication; safeguarding individuals from all forms of abuse and ensuring guest’s welfare; safety and needs are at the centre of care provided.

You should have experience in a similar role and possess a Diploma level 3 Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification.

Hours of work are 37 per week over a 7 day rota basis including weekends/nights and sleep in duties.
