Senior Children's Residential Care Officer

Salary: £14.03 per hour, £27,000- average £30,000 + £5k sleep in and welcome bonus of up to £350.

Plus £68 sleep-in payment. 

Closing date:  30th November 2023. 

Location: Working in our residential children’s home in Newcastle. 

Hours: 37 hours per week (Full time). Enhanced overtime rate

The role

We are looking to recruit a senior residential care officer to join our dynamic and committed team working with children and young people based in Newcastle.

Through individual practice and effective management, you will provide a safe, nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, happy, healthy, and able to develop, thrive and fulfil their potential experience of direct work with children and young people, in a residential setting, with complex emotional and behavioural needs as well as working knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children is essential.Ideally, you should possess a Diploma level 3 Children and Young people or an equivalent qualification. Hours of work will be 37 hours per week over a 7-day rota basis including sleep-in duties.
