Children's Home - Senior Residential Care Officer
Salary: From 1 April 2024: £15.60 per hour (£30,000 per annum)
plus enhanced overtime and sleep-in payments of £68.00 per sleep-in
This role also attracts a Welcome Bonus of up to £350.
Closing date: 29 February 2024.
Location: Residential children’s home in Sunderland.
Hours: 37 hours per week.

Can you help children reach their full potential?
We are keen to recruit someone who has an excellent understanding of developmental trauma with direct experience of working with children and young people within a residential setting. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Diploma (minimum) in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification and will be committed to achieving excellence in all that they do.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children and young people who display challenging and difficult behaviours; have knowledge, experience and understanding of child protection and experience of leading and supervising a team.
