Senior Residential Care Officer.
Salary: £24,000 pa fte.
Plus £66.20 sleep-in payment.

Location: Working in our residential children’s home in Sunderland.
Hours: 37 per week over a 7 day rota.
We are a values-based charity and passionate about the people we support. We are looking to recruit a Senior Residential Care Officer to provide high quality care to looked after children who may have had numerous placement breakdowns and who can present difficult and challenging behaviours.
Through individual practice and effective management, you will successfully support the development of the children and young people within the home. Experience of direct work with children and young people in a residential setting who display challenging and difficult behaviours, as well as working knowledge, experience and understanding of child protection issues is essential.
You should possess a Diploma level 3 in Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
Hours of work are over a 7-day rota basis including sleep-in duties.
