Alan Shearer Short Break - Residential Care Officer

Salary: £13.44 per hour (£25,859 per annum) plus sleep-in allowance of £68.00 per sleep-in and enhanced overtime rate.

This role also attracts a Welcome Bonus of up to £350

Location: Working in our specialist Short Break Centre in Newcastle. 

Hours: Full and part time hours available to cover a 7 day rota.

We are looking to recruit experienced care professionals who are passionate about providing outstanding care and support to adults living with a range of complex disabilities.

Our Alan Shearer Short Break provides respite breaks for adults living with a range of disabilities.  Our specially adapted service, part of the Alan Shearer Centre, enables parents and care givers to take a well-earned break, knowing their loved one is receiving outstanding care in a fun, therapeutic environment. 

Working closely with families, individual and care professionals we develop care plans that compliment day-to-day life, encouraging people to experience new opportunities through a structured, person-centre approach in a safe environment.
