Residential Care Officer.

Salary: £22,000 pa fte. 
Plus £66.20 sleep-in payment.

Location: Working in our residential children’s home in Darlington. 

Hours: Full and Part time hours available. 

We are a values based charity who is passionate about the people we support. We are seeking to recruit a Residential Care Officer to provide high quality care to ‘looked after children’ who may have had numerous placement breakdowns and who can present difficult challenging behaviours.

Experience of direct work with children and young people in a residential setting who display challenging and difficult behaviours as well as working knowledge, experience and understanding of child protection issues is essential. You should possess a Diploma level 3 Children and Young people or an equivalent qualification or be willing to work toward.

Full time and part time hours are available working over a 7 day rota basis including sleep in duties.
