Learning Disabilities Support Worker.

Salary: £10.10 ph. Plus £67.65 sleep in payment and welcome bonus of up to £350. 

Closing date: 5 May 2022. 

Location: Working at our residential home in Alnwick for people with learning disabilities. 

Hours: Flexible.

The role

Following retirement, we have opportunities for support workers to join our home for adults with learning disabilities in Alnwick. Set in the beautiful historic town centre, our home provides 24hour person-centred care supporting our residents including: all aspects of personal care, helping to develop life skills, encouraging community engagement and helping to build their confidence and self-esteem.

The successful candidates should have patience and compassion along with a desire to make a genuine difference to the lives of others.

Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is preferred but not essential as full training will be given, along with the opportunity to undertake qualifications for a health and social care qualification.
