Hours: 35 hours per week
This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of our Fostering Team as we aspire to become ‘Outstanding’ rated by Ofsted.
You will support the Registered Manager to:
• Lead and direct the team
• Support supervising social workers to provide high quality supervision and training to fosters carers and families
• Ensure timescales are met in line with Ofsted and Fostering Regulations
• Participate in a duty on call system
• Support the identification and matching of placements both emergency and long term
• Produce the best possible outcomes for the children; safeguarding being at the centre of all you do
• Contribute to the recruitment and continuous training and development of Supervising Social Workers and Foster Carers
You should have:
• Experience of working in Fostering
• A recognised social work qualification and registered with Social Work England
• A flexible approach to your hours of work
• A full driving license and the use of a care for business use
